The city museum in Kriva Palanka is a relatively new local initiative, that was founded in October 2011. The building in which the museum is located dates back to 1926/27 and is one of the oldest buildings in the city.
The museum has a permanent ethnological, historical and archaeological exhibition, which represents the heritage of the city.
In total, the museum collection has about 2,500 objects. Within the museum, there is also a souvenir shop with a wide variety of objects that reflect the cultural heritage of Kriva Palanka and the Republic of North Macedonia.
